SHORT BIO
Growing up in rural Wisconsin and taking piano lessons at a neighboring dairy farm, Lindsay Everly's musical journey began at eight years old while surrounded by church music, classic rock and country. Her path took an unexpected turn when she turned twenty, leaving the midwest to study music in Ghana. A semester abroad became a life changing experience and the start of the running theme behind her musicianship and story: curiosity. Now based in Northern California, Lindsay writes songs exploring independence, identity, resilience and the courage to trust your instincts. Having performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean, she hopes her music leaves her listeners feeling uplifted, inspired and understood.
LONG BIO
Lindsay Everly is a Northern California–based Americana singer/songwriter whose music blends folk, bluegrass and the music of Ghana where she lived for many years, into a heartfelt storytelling style that feels timeless yet deeply personal. With an ethereal, angelic voice, she writes songs that explore the freedom and solitude of travel, lost love and the search for belonging. Her lyrics carry the weight of deep memory and the hope of starting over — often painting cinematic scenes of small towns, open roads, and small but unforgettable moments of human connection.
Raised in the countryside of Wisconsin, Lindsay learned to play music on a dairy farm, surrounded by church harmonies, ’90s country, classic rock, and her dad’s well-worn vinyl collection. These early sounds shaped her into a songwriter whose music bridges generations while carrying a modern emotional edge.
Influenced by artists like Alison Krauss & Union Station, Kacey Musgraves, and Gillian Welch, Lindsay’s songs such as Soon to Be a Memory, Goodbye Darling, Outcast, and Take My Stake showcase her down-to-earth charm and cinematic storytelling. Her performances are known for their sincerity and soul — whether solo or backed by her band, she creates an atmosphere that draws listeners in through honesty, warmth, and quiet strength.
She’s worked with a Grammy Award-Winning producer and currently records with Bay Area producer Gawain Mathews. Her full length album Destination and latest EP Honest Flowers have been critically acclaimed by music blogs including York Calling, Last Day Deaf and Ear to the Ground Music.
